Marion’s Amazing Treasures

The winners of the summer promotion have been announces. You can find them listed below. We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you those who participated and returned their card to the Welcome Center.  We would also like to thank the  organizations who felt the promotion important enough to become a sponsor of the history treasure hunt. Without them the promotion would not have happened.

The Marion’s Amazing Treasures is a game card to be used all summer long to get participants familiar with the many well known attractions, and many little known attractions of Marion County.

This is the sixth year the Marion Area Convention & Visitor’s Bureau has offered the summer promotion.  It can be used as a family activity, babysitter adventure, family reunion fun, or just to learn more about the attractions “in your own backyard. Our hope is that once you have experienced the fun things of the Marion Community you will in turn share this with your extended family and friends.

We would like to thank this year’s sponsors who graciously contributed to enable us to print and distribute all of the cards needed for the summer program.
