Discover the rich history of Marion County through engaging exhibits and unique artifacts. Learn about Rod Serling, creator of The Twilight Zone, and legendary Olympian and football star Jim Thorpe, both connected to Marion County. Displays also feature memorabilia from Marion native and 40th U.S. Treasurer Mary Ellen Withrow, the Woodland Elves book series by author Shary Williamson with illustrations by Jay Johnston, artifacts from the Buckeye Telephone Museum collection, and items related to President Warren G. Harding. The Historical Society’s collection includes thousands of artifacts that help tell the story of Marion County and its nationally significant connections.

Cost: $10 for adults | $8 for seniors (60+) | $5 for children K-12 | FREE for children under 5
