Marion Union Station

532 West Center Street, Marion, OH 43302

Built in 1902, Marion Union Station now serves as a railroad museum, event venue, and premier train-watching location. The historic station features marble walls, mosaic tile floors, and a stunning stained-glass skylight.

With nearly 60 trains passing through daily, the station is a favorite destination for train enthusiasts—often called “railfans.” Surrounded by six mainline tracks that form eight diamond crossovers, the site offers exceptional train-viewing opportunities from the Atlantic Crossing Tower. Inside, visitors can explore an impressive collection of railroad memorabilia and the Marion Model Railroad Club Museum. A meeting and banquet room is also available for rent, making the station a popular venue for railfan gatherings, birthday parties, business meetings, and other group events.
